Dinosaurs Rock® NC came to our school and spoke to the students about differences of rocks and minerals. The students were very engaged because they were able to interact with the presenter. After the presentation the program allowed for the students to dig and find their own rocks and minerals. The students were so excited to have a tangible piece of evidence from the presentation to go home and tell their parents or family members about. This presentation fit perfectly into our curriculum, because the students were able to have concrete examples of different kids of rocks and minerals that they learned about in class. It made their learning come to life!! I would recomend this program to other schools that have the same curriculum. |

Dinosaurs Rock® NC provides a unique opportunity for the children to experience hands on activities including fossil discoveries, excavation digs and the creation of dinosaur displays in the museum.
We also greaty benefited from the knowledge about gem stone formations and their relationship to dinosaurs. The visual aids were excellent and the students were entralled throughout the entire program.
The staff and I appreciate the time, energy and effort it takes to present such a quality program. We look forward to seeing them back at Chesterbrook soon.
